This image is a shout-out to someone. You know who you are...
For those of you following the plot, the abbreviated story of another noteworthy family:
On one fateful day back in the 80's, CALVIN MACK and HYUN-JUNG PARK bumped into each other - literally. Several years and a lot of fan service later, CHOLANDA was born. (Calvin wanted to name her "Yolanda;" Hyun-Jung preferred "Cho." They compromised.)
Of course, one day Cholanda would meet HARUKA'S daughter NAOMI. These two had a biracial heritage in common (among other things...). Unfortunately, Korean Hyun-Jung's mistrust of Japanese people would lead Cholanda and Naomi to their own "Juliet & Juliet" moment. (Not to worry, everybody lives!) But the big question remains: can Haruka and Hyun-Jung ever become friends??
