Not having a macro this is but a close up. It gives an idea of the compisition of this bit of coastline. I liked a posting that beachzz recently did and thought I would post this one in return. This is the same beach from yesterdays surf image, "Sea cream". Even though most of these rocks are all but size of your pinkie nail and even smaller. The biggest about the size of your thumb nail. I could spend hours gathering them. The variety of minerals is astounding. From Amethyst, Amazonite, Tiger eye, Quartz, Pacific jade, Jade, blood stone, Jasper, Agate, and so many more.
