He's now 4 and wants iron man, batman scooby do and the simpsons so I'll be busy with this for a while I'll let you see it when its done. Cool!! A couple of my girlfriends went and painted my grandsons room with sponge paint art a few years back. I gave each one a wall.. It turned out cool.

That is too cool! You did an incredible job on that, it's a shame it has to be painted over. Lovely work!

Okay Bob you just blew me away with this one as I love this mural so much. You are amazing my friend and seem to be a master at almost every art form available. The only thing is after seeing this one it breaks my heart to think of it being painted over. Wish something could be done to preserve it and find some place else for Ironman to hang out ;)

Why not paint the next one on canvas/bedsheet/or something and hang it over that timeless piece you painted of Master Robins and Pooh and Company. This way through the years as the little lad grows older and as his mind changes you just repeat the process to when he's grown you could give them to him as a gift so he could treasure them for ever.Well except this 1st one of Pooh, that's one you get to keep to remind you of your grandson.Just a thought(smile).

Your pretty amazing to do this work. I painted all the walls in my last house and each room was another theme...no space went unpainted. Finally, my daughter begged me to stop so we could live in a normal house with white walls like other people. LOL That only lasted a few months and then those newly painted white walls gave way to more running murals. :-)

Overpainting is the curse of the art world. Someday, the art archeologists will be trying to use xray techniques to visualize the old mural beneath the newer ones, cursing the poverty of the artist's life and times that he couldn't acquire a fresh canvas for each of his masterpieces!

favorite part about this is the Rabbit - EXCELLENT! Shame you have to paint over it, but this picture came out great and I'm HOPEING you'll post your repaint.... are you just going to wing it or are you going to do an image on paper and then paint from it? With all those characters AND the Simpsons, I wonder how the final scene will look.
