Description

amongst the emotions that the AI's would develop, I would suspect that jealousy would also occur, and it's sister, disapproval as demonstrated here. This is the wider view of the previous image. Initially, I was working on reflections on irregular surfaces, in this case, She-Bot bodies. My plan was to have about 12 She-Bots, all various colours, but all highly reflective and do several renders from various POVs. when I got to this point after doing initial posing, my mind went into overdrive and so I've stopped the process long enough to post these two images. thank you for your time and patience regarding my explanations. I feel that it is better to explain the why's and hows of an image than to just post it and leave you to wonder just what the heck I was up to. Thanks for all the comments and faves Mike

Mike, Thought behind the graphic is right on! The poses and lighting amplify "disapproval or jealousy". Paul

Good symbolism...I realize that at present, the whole subject of AI is speculative. It would seem to me, looking at it logically, that 'ARTIFICIAL' Intelligence implies an outside source, at least in the beginning stages; ergo, input programming; that being the case, I'm reminded of a Computer Programmer's adage back when I studied Programming: "GI - GO"(Garbage In - Garbage Out) since computers are machines doing what they're told (programmed software) to do; and analytical reasoning is very complex, you invariably end up with bugs in the machine :D

I like the way you think, Mike - I like to explain the art, then let them wonder just why the heck I have that insidious grin on my face. ;-D This is a great fun image - the lighting is great, and the posing tells the story without need for dialog. Not an easy thing to pull off. You've certainly done it here!

Looks like the bots are starting to get emotional.... you better hurry up and post a male bot before all your girl bots don't want to have anything to do with them - lol

Sad that the previous version She-bot is jealous of the evolving versions. Looking forward to seeing the initial planned render complete with shadows and reflections. Dana
