Description
I have been playing again. This time with a fractal and little conch, my grandfather brought home from the south. I was lucky to get all these shells. I have a few of them in my gallery. I am quite amazed by the shapes and I have always loved them. I got them together with a little what-not, my grandfather made with wooden reels. Some day I will set it up again with all the shells and corals. We just havent had room for it in this little vacation house.

This really appeals to me! I think it's the different types of textures and the way they seem layered, almost like an outer, stucco texture (or stone) is beginning to break away, revealing the layer underneath. The shell itself is marvelous because it has that same stone texture, but it is distinct and unbroken (except for that little hole.) The composition is marvelous as well, especially with that bit that makes me think of a stone path, or pebbles on a beach. There is so much to see in this and it is very, very well done. I have yet to try anything fractal-based, but I'm glad that I can see such great work from you.

This is beautiful! Wonderful vertical lines, light an shadows! I love the conch in it's protected space! It makes me wonder what are in the other hollows. Excellent composition and texture! I like it very much!
