Description

Taken in Gatlinburg, Tennessee at a Salt and Pepper Museum with a collection of over 20,000 different shakers from around the world. This is what was posted on a sign out front... WELCOME Come on in and explore the unique, amazing and unusual world of shakers. From Kennedy sitting in his rocking chair to shakers made of volcanic ash. You will never look at Salt & Pepper shakers the same way again. Someone asked if they also sell any salt and pepper shakers, yes they do there is a gift shop with quite a variety of items. And the price of admission into the museum can go towards any purchase as well I thought that was a nice touch. My daughter is going camping with some friends this weekend, I plan to get my bike out and get on the trails and get some exercise in, and to do some reading I started a book last night and 5 chapters later I finally closed it and went to sleep. The name of the book is the Rescue, by Nicholas Sparks if you have never read his books I highly encourage you to they are wonderful, especially his one titled Three Weeks With My Brother, it is one of two non fiction books he has written about a three week trip around the globe he makes with his brother, I cried and laughed all though that one. When this poped up my first thought was, how many shakers do they have in this place. Read your test and my question was answered. Now I'm wondering do they sell these vintage collectibles, or just the run of the mill kind? Happy riding !

Thank you all my daughter is suppose to leave on a camping trip in 20 minutes and now we are suddenly having a severe thunder and rain and hail storm, starting to wonder if she should go or not and so is she. We just had a package delivered and it is setting on the front covered porch but we are both afraid to open the door to get it LOL wow Happy Memorial weekend hope this ends soon.
