Description

Captured 5/10/10, at beautiful Legg Lake in the beautiful Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in not-so-beautiful South El Monte, California. Much better viewed full size. Another visit with our fine feathered friends, this time them being caught in the act of beseeching for another crumb of bread. Can you name the individual who originally uttered the famous plea posed in the title, and from what story/movie/play? Adios, amigos, thankx for popping in, and for any and all complimentary comments and faves.

OMG, Rose/rainastorm got the answer right off the proverbial bat! Well done, indeed! Oliver Twist asking for another helping of gruel/porridge or whatever that stuff was that they fed those down and out orphans.

Wonderful collage Harry! Did that bottom goose just fly in from the Gulf of Mexico? Love the eyes and the ZOOM mode of the "teeth". Dana

Ah but, young Rosy didn't name the young actor who played Oliver Twist in the famous musical version, we all know and love.. That be! A young Mark Lester.. But, anyway, these are excellent close up's Harry.. Really good work.. I like the top one best.. Rob
