Description

TG2, postwork in Picture Publisher. Terrain and surface work are my own, trees from Planetside (sorry can't remember who did this one but I love it), and I used one of the phantastic cloud clip files from Calico (brewing storm), available at Planetside as well. If anyone could tell me why my trees mutated to bushes (half-dug in the ground!) after having used the twist & shear shader, I'd be very grateful! Not that I don't like this result, but it's still an accident and wasn't intended. I couldn't find out how it happened - maybe wrong node connections? A single object does sit on the ground correctly, but not a population. Miracle to me! ;-) Thanks to those who helped me a lot solving the atmo problem (Paul, Markal), you made my day! Have a great weekend everyone! P.S.: Thanks to phfrancke the problem with the dug trees is solved - connected the population with the grass layer, but still had to delete the hook for "sit on terrain", otherwise they'd still appear dug. Now they DO sit on the terrain, but I have not the slightest idea why! *grin*

majestic view - great light, really like the light and composition in the center. About the trees, instead of using the planet surface, use the surface from your last - bottom node. Really well done image here!!

Awesome rock structures and textures. Cool lighting. Very slight graininess in atmosphere. This tends to spoil the feeling of space in renders but I'm nitpicking. It's an impressive scene.
