Description
The first man in line here is my Great Uncle Carl. His plane was shot down and they never found his remains. He earned a Purple Heart amongst other medals of Honor. Have a safe Memorial Day weekend if your celebrating it. Thank you for the click, comments, and Fav's on my last post "Trapped In My Dreams". I really, really appreciate it.
Thank you to all who served...never forget to remember.
Sorry folks I was asked to move this image to Memorial Gallery because its not a photo I took personally.

We owe SO MUCH to these gallant men and women! God bless them all! Your great-uncle is watching over you, and all of us. They sacrifice so much to keep us free. Indeed, never forget to remember. Excellent post, Rose!

Lovely work on this Rose it is a beautiful tribute to your great Uncle and all who have served and fallen to get the freedom you have today.. Don't let lying politicians rob you of this by having you give up your freedoms in the name of terrorism..

i have chicken skin seeing this rose, last night i watched over 4 hours a special on tv about D-.day ,all the preparations and motions and logistics was awesome for me. and then the feeling i had seeing these young lads jumping out of the landingboats on the beach in that terriffice german mg fire devastating. and of course all the services and all the men and women who gought. because they paid the highest price we have the right to sit here and freedom of expression and speach, wich newer generations dont give a shit about. but these men and women paid the highest price for us so the least we can do is honor them and not like some governements/administrations do,they screw their own troops.
