Description

Hello friends, every journey has an end, and even the finest scottish tour ends some day. This is the last pic of the whole series, and it is time to say THANKS - -thanks to you, dear friends, you were a lovely audience and it was a great pleasure to work with you. This series should not longer run till September/October last year - so was the plan - but it was your interest that grew up the whole thing to something I hadn´t in mind before we started..... Looking back I cannot believe that all these pics were taken in only 5 days of traveling, driving along with an open mind.... After this short trip another dimension began: The work with the pics, the recherche of facts, a new dimension of scottish traditional music with new, unknown artists and a deep "inside look" at gaelic culture of today.... Please friends, believe me, it was your interest, your comments, your favorites who made things happen like this - a series I didn`t made before. Thanks for your help and inspiration!! This is the last pic, but not the end of my scottish fever: At Tuesday, 2nd June 2010 we start our second trip to Scotland, 2 whole weeks in this season.... But: It is not planned a new scottish series, I´m a little bit tired of the whole theme and I will get back to Berlin or Germany, to my roots....... Maybe there some single scottish pics in the future, but no series. And: This is not MY series, it is OUR series! We were two: My beautiful girlfriend and partner for life HARRIET, who gave a lot for this project, too. Without her this project wouldn´t be realized... Dear Harriet, it is time to say THANK YOU to you- -for your money for the realisation of this trip; -for your fine camera equipment; -for your wonderful feeling for the right postwork; -for your endless patience with my ideas and mistakes; -for your helping hand in every parts of life; -for your patience with the stupid ideas of an old guy like me..... THANK YOU FOR ALL! Let`s say it with Ian Andersons song "Jasmine Corridor": I have never met a girl like you..... Friend, thanks for your nice comments for my older pics. Please feel free to send some for this pic here, every direction is wellcome.
