Description
I knew this was going to be difficult and it was. After a normal render, I turned everything white and rendered that. In Photoshop, I then erased the normal layer on every "up facing" surface, to expose the snow layer. Painted in a few spots and some icicles, then added falling snow using noise.

Well done man...multi pass is the way it's done professionally to the point that Vue now outputs in .psd layered format with everything you select on seperate layers....would make tweaking a breeze I figure...wish I could afford that app and maybe I'd do some animating.. ...

Oooooooooh, this is terrific! Nothing like snow to really set off an image. I enjoyed the production notes as well. I, too, am a big fan of the erase brush. It must have taken forever to erase enough to get the snow to only appear on flat, horizontal surfaces. Great work! Congrats!!
