Description

Inspired by a minimal piano piece by Erik Satie- "Gymnopedie No. 1". I hadn't heard this in a long time and when I did, it kept playing in my head over and over. There are three parts of the Gymnopedie and it sounds quite modern, but it was composed in 1888. In case it isn't clear, the buildings were arranged to look like piano keys. The tune just makes me think of watching a dancer in the rain. Buildings by Baument Gymnopedie Hopefully this works. If you're inclined, listen to the music and see if it does anything for you.

I love the Gymnopédies myself. Here's me playing number three: http://www.morphography.uk.vu/hear.php?track=Troisieme_Gymnopedie.mp3. I did the other two as well, but they aren't online at the moment.
