Description

This represents a mopup of the greman troops in the Falaise pocket. All the figures were posed in poser then imported into view. I setup the village using 2 normandy houses from google warehouse, the street & telephone poles & streetlamp from faveral le village with the cobling from from maps freebie, inside vue added some facing to the derelict cottage from dark anvil to make it look a bit different. The brit tank crew & trooper is m3 with the uniform morphed to look british with some weapons & brit helment from panko. The gr troopers are the dork with morphs & feldbluse 36 from naoki, the gr equipment & tanks are from ranman38' market place & some freebies, the firefly net was made in poser using the dynamic clohing tool & my own maps & trans. The render in vue took about 13 hrs, posting was completed in PS for that old B&W look.

A LOT of work but worth every bit of it....have to admit the only thing stopping me from getting into Vue, is the render times.I know 13hrs is quite quick compared to some :( This sort of result would make it worthwhile (but what happens if you don't like it once it's 'cooked'?) a great render and super detail. I would like to see the original colour version for comparison. This is still excellent work, bravo sir.
