Description

Wasn't sure just where to put this .. photo or 2D .. since it's mostly photo, it went into photography despite the manipulations. I added flowers from another photo, and the two faes. The little one in the tree is from pspworkshop.nl, the other fae amidst the flowers is from vampsart.com. I added wings to both, they came from pewter7. All were found originally in free stuff. The flowers are Hesperis matronalis, or Dame's Rocket. The Fae is talking to her flowers .. protecting the wild things, and perhaps living in the willow. We don't know much about her, or the litle one. We've only seen glimpses of them and were lucky to get this shot. Murphy alerted me so I had my camera ready. Thank you all for the wonderful comments on the previous post .. "Gone out to the Hollow". I'm really enjoying "digifiddling" with the photos and so appreciating your thoughts and faves. Desperately trying to catch up on all the lovely art work ..

The fae behind the flowers is priceless - especially at the Hollow - great shot... I don't know what to put alot of things under catagories either... I would of chose Mixed media and fantasy.... Some photographers will gripe if you have 3d images in photos - I learned that years ago - lol.... so, mixed media is a safe one to put it under.

I think photo manipulation or fantasy might have been better. All such details aside though.. this is a wonderful whimsical piece :)

I don't know the lore, but I'm pretty sure we have elves instead of fairies out here. Must have to do with the huge amount of rain. I guess fairies must live underground and get rained out. Elves live in hollow trees, right? It's a lovely image...glad to know you're getting to enjoy some time with the forest spirits, but gosh, I wish you would post more pictures. They're just too few and far between.

In this charming place with exceptional flowers, I am no longer surprised, to see the fairies play as a swing! the joy of life, love for nature, animal, floral, see human can certainly appreciate the more often the beauty of life! That is what inspires me this beautiful countryside, dear Rita!

An amazing image that reminds me of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's photos of fairies. It is all very convincing and establishes a solid base that works. You did a super job on this image, Rita!!!!!

A wonderful scene with the little bit of magic to add to it. I'm glad to hear that Murphy alerted you to the fairies, you have trained him well. He probably thought it was worth a biscuit. LOL.
