Description

You may remember my canvas work of this submarine from a few years back... well I have decided to release it as a Vue model and it is now available on a new Merchants site: http://www.ontarget3d.com/ ....and for those wanting to push their skills, I have modeled the interior for Poser figures working the hand crank propulsion system and looking out the turret. Take a look at ontarget3D... you will also find my BenHur models, and an update to my Discovery Telescope along with all my other models.

Wow! I tried to be a little more articulate with my initial impression, but this is definitely a Wow. Your attention to detail always impressess, Don.  Here, where such attention is really essential, your craftwork sets me back in my chair. I ask myself, "Who else would bring such specialized elements of history into this medium?"  Here we can clearly see your love of the subject shining through and it is a true gift for contemporary artists who share your interestes. Fine craft, Sir. With warm regard, Terry

Ah, yes, I remember your earlier work a few years ago. It refreshed my memory about this boat and its tragic loss. Nice to see you've made it available as a 3D model. Good thing there are people like you who model this type of historical items. Keep up the good work! :)

The model is brilliant, but the sea in the top image is amazing, how did you do it, is it modelled, or postwork...or both? I would really love to know.

Another bit of stunning work. That top image, where she's just been cut loose in the storm, is simply mind-boggling. I have never seen a stormy sea so accurately represented in Vue. You, sir, are a Master of your craft.
