Marvelous! I love how you manage to get them sitting still. Chicago butterflies are skittish as all get-out, and they act as if they all have attention deficit disorder on top of it. Hmmm...maybe there's something in our soil and thus our flower-nectar! Who knows? But anyway, I love this shot. I especially like the variety of butterflies you're showing. Aside from Monarchs, Viceroys, and a few others, Chicago isn't exactly "Butterfly country". Ah, but at least I get to see them in your gallery!

I'll trade you my train tracks for your butterfly spot. LOL This is gorgeous!!!! I have been wanting to find a place where butterflys hang out. I spose now it's a bit too late in the season for them.
