Description
Arenal is the most active volcano in Costa Rica and its activity has increased in the last few weeks. Here I was fortunate to catch it doing an explosion. Explosions happens very quickly and unannounced; therefore, I had to set the camera to take photos all night at short intervals with the hopes of capturing an eruption. Luckily this explosion occurred during one of the times that the camera was open. The lighting comes from an almost full moon.
