Description
This is another photo taken this week in the rain forest of Costa Rica. This is a bullet ant which according to several sources has the most painful sting of any animal in the world. They are also the largest ants found in the Americas. They grow to be around one inch long. This particular one is carrying the head of another ant on its leg.
