Description
This is a Female Pileated Woodpecker. She is Big Daddy's mate. She came to eat 3 times today, and after she left Big Daddy came and they did that all day so that tells me she's laid eggs or they have hatched. I wish I could find their nest so I could keep an eye on it but I will just have to be patient until they bring them to me. She is just as friendly as Big Daddy is. As you notice she is not nearly as bright red and as big as he is.
