I'm not sure what all to say about myself, I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA) and work as a graphic designer/computer technician for a print shop. I have a BS in Historic Preservation, but wasn't willing to go on for a Master's Degree, nor was I interested in teaching, so I found another career. I discovered Bryce way back when version 1 came out, but I didn't really get serious about the program, or 3D art in general, until a few years ago. When I'm not in front of the computer, I'm either making costumes or wearing them to a renaissance festival, or building a new rock-sculpture, or possibly wandering with a camera.
When I'm not making something, odds are I'm reading from my far too wide range of interests: Astronomy, Cosmology, Physics, Archeology, Anthropology, History, Current Events, NASA (of course) and anything else that happens to catch my attention. It's really hard to find enough time to do all of the things I want to be doing! What drew me to Renderosity is the many excellent artists who continue to inspire me to push myself as an artist. More recently I've added a selection of stuff to another online gallery location:http://nefariousdro.deviantart.com/Â

I already understood for some shots, you're playing the gravity! One more shot for proof! Amazing series!

We're starting to get that 'stonehenge' thing. This is really evolving nicely! Is that a cemetery across the fence?

You are indeed the Jedi Master of balancing rocks! Now we're waiting for the next logical step - a new Stonehenge, or possibly Easter Island. I've still got to try this......

Hmm...I missed this one. Ah, but I've seen it now. And as always, WOW! I love the full collection of these beings. For some reason, your rock sculptures always remind me of strange beings--maybe alien, maybe something else, but definitely alive and full of personality. Here, with the cyclone fence in the background, it looks as if you've wandered into an area of historical significance and come across the dolmen structures of some long, lost culture...or a dwelling place for the members of that distinct, not-exactly-human race, and these apparent "rocks" are the very people being protected from a vigorous and invasive society. I love it. I also enjoy it when a piece of artwork inspires all sorts of thoughts about other things. This is super!

You know I adore these! ;) And to hear/read what you've remarked about the golden hues of this time of day made me smile, too. It's such a characteristically different warmth..where everything feels a bit softer, and slower...and even the light itself reflects that. Wonderful grouping. And, you know, there's something very fitting and akin to their perfect, quiet neighbors on the other side of the fence, too.
