I cannot remember the original poem, or the poet, but I remember the lines: Medusa the beautiful Medusa the scorned Medusa the unfortunate Those lines have stuck with me for decades and this image brought them back to me. It is such an elegant capture! Simple. Clean. And as Nikolai says, so close and so personal! Medusa...if we really understood her, what wonders might she tell us? I love it when a piece of art gets me to thinking like this! This capture is superb.
