Description

This bumble bee was one of many making the rounds on a large patch of purple lupine blossoms in off the side of route 16 in Ossipee NH. I decided to try to do a capture to see if I could accomplish it. As you probably know, you have to use manual focus in situations like this and you have to do it very quickly because bees do not stay in one place for very long. It's not easy. I snapped a number of photos and got perhaps three that were fairly decent. I liked this one the best. It is not perfect. The depth of field was extremely short and I didn't quite get it perfectly focused but I am fairly happy with it considering I haven't done much of this type of shooting in my time. Hope you like it.
