Description

This is nearing completion now but I do not have any information regarding the inside of the cab or the engine it used. Information on this vehicle is extremely scarce so if anyone can shed light on either of the above it would be appreciated. Also not sure regarding the front mudguards. Look right according to the 3 views but don't seem right to me. Comments welcome.

Magnificennt! I've allready purchassed many you your products & your last model the Sdkfz 9, I was hoping to get your trailer, but I guess I'll have to wait until its release. As for your request: the shape of the fenders will depend on the year of manufacture, as the war progressed they simplified production from the complex shaped look on your model to the more simplified style. go here http://www.o5m6.de/Buessing-NAG_4500A-1.html, the photos are for the cargo version but it may give you a better look at the fenders. I'll see what i can find in my library regardingthis truck.

Thanks, I already have that site bookmarked and it comes in very handy. All I can find out is that it had a bench seat and the engine was an in-line 6 cylinder. May have to end up doing a best guess. The trailer is done modeling wise, its just proving to be a pain texturing it. Anyone have photos of a Fries 16 tonne mobile gantry crane? Interesting thing to build but looks like a nightmare to rig . . . .

Thanks for the info. Can't find anything other than tech details for the engine but getting sidetracked found a walkaround so know what the inside of the cab looks like now. Basic is an understatement.

Was unable to find details of the engine so had to put in a generic one which means that the hood will not be able to open. I am currently finishing off some textures and trying to figure out the best way to rig the crane. Not done one before so its a painful process. Once done though the crane will be a separate figure so can be used on the back of the FAMO as well and will be in the marketplace (eventually).
