Description
while waiting on the tarmac for the go signal, he could not help but wonder if he could return safely.
The Typhoon's history so far was not an auspicious one. Although the engine did not catch fire this time, thoughts of engine failure, suspected carbon monoxide poisoning, the tail section separating in a dive and the ever present threat of being shot out of the sky by friendly fire still crossed his mind every time he lined up.
Once into the sky, these thoughts he knew would disappear but for now he had butterflies in the pit of his stomach.

What a beastie...and what a great model.

Well made image. Good seamless compositing with background. Interesting with the so real looking halftrack in the background - it adds an unusual touch. The Typhoons were good ground attack planes, but they unfortunately had their drawbacks. I like the text accompanying this - the feeling all men in war have before getting into the action. Keep up the good work! :-)
