Most think the True Hermaphrodites live only on the eastern side of the continent, especially in the Sea of Mauritius and the Isle of Hermaphros. And outside of a few planar oddities, most think they are exclusively human. That’s not entirely true. For it seems that if a True Hermaphrodite breeds with any creature it might spawn another of that race. Their inherent shapeshifting powers, of course, make that an imminent possibility. And given their proclivity for wild sexual abandon, it’s really a shock that they’re not everywhere.

Luvanna Harden couldn’t trace the original seed of her/m True Hermaphrodite ancestor. Two, maybe three generations back? No one in the family knew. Certainly there hadn’t been one such as her/m ever in her bloodline. So, as is the case with most strange mutations in a child, s/he was treated poorly. In some parts of the world, True Hermaphrodites were treated as god-sends, blessed by Aphrodite, a boon to their family. Not so in the far north of Carellon during the days of the War with the Wolf Hordes.

Luvanna survived the destruction of her/m family home as an infant. S/he should have suffered a dark and horrible fate. Instead, s/he was noticed and quickly rescued by the Coven of Fenris and sent north into Tarkania with slaves. Her/m fate was to be raised by the Coven as one of their own, a powerful, seductive Witch s/he was to be. But even that fate was soon derailed. The war was won by Carellon. The Black Witch was killed and the alliance of Tarkanian warlords crumbled. The Coven was on the run. Luvanna fell from one cruel master to another for years, making a strange circuitous journey back towards Carellon. S/he was brought to Goblinvale and sold to an evil Erotic named Corrywyn. There, s/he learned the hard discipline and pain inducing skills of the Dominatrix. Old Calladon was under the control of Christobael, and her/m mistress had a new master of her own.

Luck would have it that Corrywyn was attacked and lost her little pet before reaching Old Calladon, setting the 18 year old slave free for the first time in her/m life. She wandered into New Calladon and lived on the streets for a time, before her/m beauty and raw sexuality won her/m a spot in Night Tracks’ line up. S/he could never forget all those years of pain and torment, nor could s/he ignore the dark, hateful side it had brought out in her/m. But years of friendship and love from the girls at Night Tracks had begun to soften those hard edges. And there was always the discipline of the lash to remind her/m to keep her/m emotions in check.
