Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

I think you're gonna get Renderosity Squatters in your garden: me foremost among them! I'll be the one looking for woodlice! I love the arrangement and your rather diagonal POV; it puts everything in its place but not in a rigid way, and that glass pane is a brilliant touch, a nice way to separate patio space from non-patio space without actually "breaking" space, if that makes sense. What I really like about this is the fact that margaritas would go so good in that spot! This is super stuff!

nice cozie spot

I sure remember when you started working on this. But I don't remember seeing a shot of it all done up with plants in place, etc. This is great! I know how good it feels to do it all with your own 2 hands and back. Nothing better. :-)

When are the margaritas being served? Great patio!

And in this corner, at 185 pounds, wearing the red trunks with the white stripe is....... This is your own private niche in your own Garden of Eden. Excellent shot, just flush with color and texture, Marilyn! Not an easy task, laying those pavers. If I tried that now, I wouldn't be able to get up.

Great looking place to sit back and relax - I'm looking for a hammock as we speak. Can't decide between rope or canvas??? Dana
