I saw this on the artistchallenge site, and it's as vivid as I thought it would be. I knew it would be, because I know your work by now, and I knew, when I saw your jpg here, that the original must be brimming with inner & outer hues. (The copy here is more bleached & doesn't do as much justice to the piece. I hope people will see it, it's beautiful.) Your work in fluid acrylics is lush and very pulsing. It has life pouring through it. Your blues are often luminousl and your greens here are alive too, as are your white highlights. You use the brush very actively, almost as if you were painting with oils. Could you post the same jpg as you have on the artistchallenge site? Only to get the more vivid hues...It is like a dream. Beautiful work. Good luck with it & with all your other projects, of which I know you have many. You're a wholly natural talent, on all accounts. Happy Summer Solstice!

Dearest Mark, you always have your finger on the pulse of the work. Was playing in art program and came up with the hard edge and then this soft lights of midsummer night's dream piece. By the time finish a piece one wonders what other direction could have been taken had the glaze been applied differently. Since this is my precious Renderosity site (always felt such freedom- no maybe abandonment as get lost within the galleries) in changing the work up. The site represents work in creation. Where folks excel in all the digital directions, manipulations and original concepts. Yes will repost the original (admit have such headaches with resizing). Thank you for taking the time to check both sites (you always make one feel extra special)

This is quite marvelous! I love the textured blue above the waterfall. I've just seen the repost of this piece and I have to say that I like both posts for differing reasons. This is quite sensitive, as is it's companion post (and others I've seen thumbnails to but have not yet commented on.) Your style is quite fascinating to me, especially since I know nothing of painting--whether it's oil, acrylic, or watercolor painting. I've dabbled here and there with acrylics, but I've produced nothing of consequence. I do love it though, but I am more of a photographer and writer I guess. Oh well...At any rate, I love the visual representation of the work you've put into this. There's a feeling of layers (like reality itself) where things are hidden and half-hidden by veils and whispers of other things, including light qualities. I love that you've captured that so keenly in this. It's quite a marvelous piece of work and I'm glad I've discovered your gallery!
