Dopo qualche giorno l’incontro con il macaone , a dire il vero , molto disponibile a farsi fotografare . La foto di stamani ancora in controluce .il mio modo preferito. After a few days meeting with the swallowtail, indeed, very willing to be photographed. The photo of this morning still backlit, my favorite way. Excellent capture of this beautiful Butterfly. The detail and lighting are superb. I would be thrilled to get such a magically lit image so well composed and with such great colors. I make no pretense of being a great photographer or digital editor but if I may be so bold as to offer a suggestion - I think you should consider using a softening tool to smooth the "digital noise" that is visible in the full size image. It appears as if you used a masking tool and a softening effect to smooth out most of the background and that is effective and quick but a little extra time spent with an adjustable tip of a softening tool to smooth out those areas close to the main subject that the masking tool missed, would be worth the effort on such a magnificent image. Please take no offense. It is just a suggestion. Thanks for sharing. Lee
