Hi,
I haven't a clue what it is but I liked it! quite a big white flower and the petals almost have a metalic sheen to them, pretty and pure.

PS: no sight of the Jackdaw fledgeling today, I'm hoping he found his wings and flew to another garden, no feathers or signs of cat intervention in the night, fingers crossed he made it.

Hi Tracyjane...it looks like it could be a clematis. They come in a few different colors, such as purple, pink and white. Very nice close-up!
