ooh, more sensitive work from you, Carin. The light behind the leaves give them a quiet luminous feel, and that alone makes it a sweet shot. But the sunburst (low, which is nice) reminds us of the intensity that sits behind it. I like the opening at the top, and the way the leaves feel like fall lights. A simple shot but very expressive, and another of your thoughtful pieces. Hope the winter is a beautiful one! I have to keep reminding myself that half the earth is in winter now! I never get used to that! Here, the leaves are totally green!

This is beautiful! I love the light and the way it lights up the color of the leaves. Autumn is always such an interesting thoughtful time for me as I wind down from the intensity of summer. And the changing of the leaves is always very pretty and somehow majestic. It's so easy to sit here at the computer and type away being only vaguely aware of how many miles seperate us all. Here in Chicago late spring is finally giving way to summer. What a big planet this is. What a small planet the Internet makes it into. A wonderful photo.
