Fenton, Norris and Thornton met Dorchak last night. Not sure about relationship there. Only one not put off by her was Norris. Hate to say is animal attraction. More likely he is only one close to her height. Five of us went to bar nearby for drinks. No bar brawl. Too bad. Always good ice breaker for new unit. On way out, found we were being followed. Three vampires. Hate these creatures. In middle of fight, was joined by man in odd clothes. Foreigner.

Perhaps I should not speak of foreigners, being no native Carellonian myself. However, have spent much more time here than him. My home has been on (or under) this continent for nearly century. He comes from across Golden Ocean, island nation beyond Hesterland called Kibberan. His name is Nicholas McCready, Doctor. He is older than most humans I have met who are starting careers as adventurers, early forties maybe. He was medical doctor in Sonntaglia before string of demon possessions at hospital where he worked drove him to become Paladine of Avandorian church. Now, is training to become Demonhunter.

Aura of Protection from Evil came in very handy. Vampires driven off. Asked Doctor McCready to join us. Was hesitant at start, but soon warmed up. Thinking we need one more and recruiting is done.
