Description

Here at Bru, Norway, the wikings buildt their homes and found perfect harbours for their longships. The climate is the warmest in Norway. There are many old wiking graves found here at Bru. The soccerteam in Stavanger is called "Viking".

Great shot, I have always been interested in te Vikings since I was a kid and Read " Mary Suttcliff's Viking Dawn series. It's surprisingly like Irelnd or Scotland is'nt it.

Fantastic light that's only found under Scandinavian skies . This view reminds me of the landscape I saw driving to take the ferry for the Lofoten islands...A superb capture!
