Description

Helen and Haruka do a little "lampshade hanging" with regards to their respective thematic colors. This is more meaningful if you've seen them in my gallery before. There's that smile/wink/thumbs up thing again. I didn't even realize I was doing it at the time. I tell you what, that's the quickest way to my heart, it seems... An odd piece of news was on TV. There is a bit of outrage that a nearby town has decided to impose a dress and personal appearance code on city employees. I guess I'm just an old square for what I think: If you believe that having green hair, fingernails made to look like ladybugs, an assortment of spikes sticking out of your face, and coming to work dressed like Daisy Duke is your "inalienable right to freedom of expression," then you certainly have the "freedom" to take a job somewhere else rather than as the mayor's receptionist. Yes, these were some of the exact things that were now banned. I don't think that's asking too much! Or is that "discrimination" against the young folks? I'm preparing something a little different for my gallery. Should be interesting, and it's coming soon...

Good strip today. And I agree with you on the dress issue. You can look as outrageous as you please, but people are also free not to hire you.
