Description
Captured 5/12/10, at beautiful Legg Lake in the beautiful Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in not-so-beautiful South El Monte, California.

Okay, you've seen mucho fotos of various ponds, piers, wharfs, marinas, falls, lakes, streams, swamps, shorelines and oceans, along with the Snoqualmie and Eel Rivers, on Renderosity, so I figured it's about time that I again throw in some water related stuff.
This is just a sneak preview, and since I took tons/tonnes of shots of this lovely lake during my two day visit, it'll be collages from now on.
The pics were taken during the middle of the week, when there was just a bare smidgen of humanity around to contaminate the scene.

So beautiful, with the blue blue sky and reflections; wonder what kind of fish they're going for? Surely not carp, although you never know. Great capture of the kind of heaven one can find on a weekday; bet it's lots different at the weekend!

A stroll around the lake, birds swirling around your head.. Fishermen snagging Bikini tops off unwitting damsels as they lay sunbathing on the grass.. Harry curses as he was changing the battery at the time! lol Great picture my friend... Rob

This is indeed a beautiful place. Excellent shot, wonderful colors, light and reflections.

everybody got the gentle beauty of the pic. You can post as many shots of water as you wish, I think this is beautiful. A very gentle hue throughout, the hills/mtns in the backgrounds are whispers, the tree reflections in the water are beautiful, and the water itself is a mirage of almost glass-like blue, with that beautiful blue sheath cutting through the reflections (and giving those gentle swirls in them). And the lone 2 fishers are a quiet presence. Quiet & gentle capture of a beautiful lake. Very sensitively done Harry. (No root beer here, lol. This is just plain a simple & beautiful water capture...)
