Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

...I'm half crazy all for the love of you. It won't be a stylish marriage - I can't afford a carriage, But you'd look sweet upon the seat Of a bicycle built for two. Bet you thought I wouldn't slip in the lyrics of that song, lol. Ultra cool effects and focus in this foto of one my favorite flowers, Marilyn!

There is something about daisies...I don't know of anyone who doesn't like them, especially the teeny tiny little ones...oh, and by the way, teeny tiny little is a terribly accurate scientific (and mathematical) term used only in the most hallowed halls of higher learning; there's actually a numerical expression of it, which is quite an extensively long numerical expression, but translated into simple English, it sounds something like a haiku with the words, "teeny-tiny-little" which is only about a micron's length longer than "itsy-bitsy." Don't you just love math!? Anyway, this is a marvelous shot! I love the way you've captured so much in such a small space...daisies, tendrils, colors, and woo-hoo, a mood! This is quite nice!
