A refreshing macro, Rozanne. This is a wee universe / micro-ecology. Well spotted and nicely taken. Capturing the water drops was well done. For some reason some motorway embankments, up here, are alive with poppies this year. Either Nature was very busy, or the motorway maintenance companies suddenly caught the beauty bug and did some planting, when no one was looking.. ;o) Warm regards, and wishing you some less windy and wet weather, John.

Yes, so sharp!! If I may, just a suggestion, have you tried a tighter crop? Maybe a panoramic one to erase the bottom of the image where we can see the green of the background. I find it a bit distracting and the heart of the flower is so beautifully shot that, to me, that bottom part is useless. Just an idea ;)
