A busy weekend has come to an end... It is almost bedtime here in SA although I am busy watching the Brazil/Ivory Coast game at Soccer City...
I have captured this beautiful rose at a family lunch today where we celebrated 3 family birthday's and father's day!! My niece had the most beautiful little bouquets on the table... I have not done any postwork on this image other than a slight crop...

another of your beautiful captures, with lushness & intensity. The combo of flowers is wonderful, and you caught two very different flowers next to each other & they seem to be singing a duet. Sensual & bold, it's quite a sensitive shot. I've noticed, since coming here more & more, what a broad array of styles you have & how easefully you move through all of them. A beautiful macro; and the softened background is just right for the bold peach & red hues of the two 'star' flowers. It's a real pleasure to come here, Carin.

What a gorgeous image! Such a fantastic flower too...I love the rich color and in a way it reminds me of candy. Funny how my mind works. The light is perfect as is the composition. In short, this entire image has most definitely brightened my night (and my upcoming day). Wonderful!
