Description
As opposed to Beauty and the Beast.
Captured 6/12/10, at the Centennial Aviation Day celebration held on the grounds of the beautiful Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum in Carson, California.

And, she's wearing flip-flops just like Marilyn.
The Aviation Day display and events -- in observance of an International Air Meet held at the site in January 1910 -- was mostly a disappointment, but I made up for it by capturing a lot of interesting people stuff -- my attempt to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat -- so the visit was not entirely wasted.
More of this event to come later down the line.

Not the average glamour shoot. A well thought out compilation, 'the sight', 'the taste' and that bit of melted cheese that always misses the plate and falls down you're front :) Both look tasty dishes and lots in the surroundings to catch the eye. Happy Fathers Day.

you're probably passing out that I'm actually commenting on a piece of yours when it actually went up (or at least before the next one went up, lol). I've been doing older pieces for a few weeks now...Well, I looked at this a bit & I really like how you got the woman to the side of that glorious tree, then flush with it (with other trees behind---it's a really enticing capture, with the woman bleached in the light of day next to all that shadow)---and the final one, just a hint of the tree as we see her face-on, with that background suddenly revealed. She looks like she's taking a break from making a film. And of course you got her picking up the pizza, eating it, and then---well, contemplating it, lol. Very clear captures, very relaxed, I really like the sequence, and the backgrounds are compelling by themselves. And I gotta say, how you got these without her saying something like, "do you mind???" or at least offering you some pizza is beyond me: In my neighborhood, when you point a camera, people either run & get out of your way (consideration) or they put up their hands to keep you away. Your ninja qualities must be in prime shape, 'cause this lady couldn't be more at home. Love it. And it makes you wonder, where'd she get the chair & how can she just sit there in front of a big event and no one said, "uh, ma'am, we're sorry but we're gonna have to ask you to move..." Lovely! And Happy Fathers Day to you, Sir Harry! And to everyone else too! And now, Happy Summer!!!

Here we have a beauty about to devour a slice of Pizza.. Hair, long flowing.. Shorts, yep! Check!! But the flip-flops! The most awful invention in the History of fashion! And there have been a few! "Quit bending down!", "Gotcha!", "Blast, a bit fell on my shorts!" Excellent captures! She has beautiful highlights in her hair. It looks like she is wearing dog tags. I love the tree and how she peacefully eats while being photographed and with of all the activity going on behind her. Happy Father's Day, Harry!

I thought it was kinda odd, that all these people would line up to see her eat pizza. It took a little wind out of my sale once I realized it was aviation event. Still some cool captures Harry!
