HOOFERS IT’S BIG!!! It’s coming to our MADHOUSE’S magnificent MIDWAY Hall of Mirrors … doarte’s Drama Department and the world renowned corps de ballet are soon to appear in the German composer Engelbert Humperdinck’s 19th Century opera HANSEL UND GRETAL. As you can see from the pictured “sylvan satyr dancers”: doarte’s scene designers have adapted photographic techniques popular in the 1800’s to create our modern SHADES backgrounds for contemporary artwork; not only with a ‘vintage spirit” but for creative artists who express their imagination in children’s stories, fairy tales and fantasies. doarte Thank you so much for viewing and comments. It has been quite awhile since last I gazed upon your wondrous art, but oh so worth the wait! What fantastic characters they are set in my favorite SHADES backgrounds. Hmmm....I don't usually consider buying and using backgrounds, but I may have to have a look at this, I see possibilities. Those two look like they could easily combine drama and ballet in one go, you may have started a new fad!

Oh wow, I really like the approach of your work. Those framing and the use of botanical backgrounds reminds me of the art nouveau era. This is a great visual presentation of the characters you have portrayed.
