Description
thought I would show some of the progress on this bridge. the bridge on Interstate 30 just down the river a 1/2 mile has had concrete fall out of the surface several times, but instead of replacing it, they build this engineering show bridge

But beautiful catch of sight ((5++)) Une durée de vie d'à peu pres 40 ans le béton et vraiment laid ,mais ne t'en fait pas c'est pareil partout. Escuse moi des fois je divague . Mais belle prise de vue((5++))

lol... it is only in the budget to build show briges with someones name on it not to repair someone elses bridge...

Madbat is right, stay out of there! Thanks for sharing your pics, Richard.

It was amazing to me that the road repair and improvements to the Gulf Freeway between Galveston and Houston - a stretch 42 miles long at the time, took 22 years to complete and when they finally finished it, they had to go back to the beginning and start again to accommodate the population growth. This bridge is another one of those "brainstorms" that seems to have been born in a flash of blinding lightening!

It blows me away what they can spend money on at a time when things are so tight. Great photo Richard and despite it being a crazy idea I always enjoy construction shots

Magnifica meu amigo, captura soberba, aqui existem várias assim espalhadas pelo país, até onde não tem nem estradas , sidades, ou rios, excelente, aplausos (5)

Seems so it would be better if it was replaced...spend money for a safer bridge etc instead of...oh never mind...they do what they do cuz that's what they do! :-) Great shot!
