Description

This is an area just inside the most southern tip of the Coyote Buttes, beginning at the Paw hole trailhead. The formations in the southern wilderness tend to be a little paler or softer in color tones than the north unit. The base of this teepee has lovely lines and it always amazes me how life will find a foot hold somehow, someway. Whether your a viewer, commented, rater, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you.

"Other seeds fell on stony ground, where they did not have a lot of soil. They sprouted at once because the soil wasn't deep. But when the sun came up, they were scorched. Since they did not have any roots, they dried up." Matthew 13:5&6 Or maybe they persevered and did just fine! Wonderful example of the tenacity of life. Beautiful clarity and color! Excellent meeting of the diagonal lines with the horizontal ones. Another beauty!

These rocks look amazing when you see them close up. I can just imagine them being created and the force needed.
