Description
Captured 6/5/10, at the beautiful 25th Annual HB Concours, held at the beautiful Huntington Beach Central Park in beautiful Huntington Beach, California.
Much better viewed full size.
Since Mark spotted this beauty, sitting in the background on some other postings, I'm dedicating it to him.
I like the clean, simple sculpture of the body, the color, headers, grille, and the bumper and wheels, with those shiny bullet shaped thingies jutting out menacingly.
And, talk about low slung, this champ appears to be floating on the surface, akin to a boat. No asphalt, dirt or speed bumps for this baby; it can only be driven on a brand new, flat, sparkling clean, glass surface. And, unless they're retractable, it has no windshield wipers.
Auf weidersehen, thankx for the peek, and for any and all complimentary comments and faves.

great captures....

Wow, that is a LOW rider! Sometimes they have pneumatic shock absorbers that allow them to go way up or way down at the push of a button. Doesn't seem any reason for being so low, except just because it CAN. Beautiful captures!

The close up shots are great, but I love the top one. Nice series Harry!

What a model you have for us today Harry. I'm betting with Densise. Hydraulics or pneumatics must be the answer. Fine collage:)

I'm with Denise about this low rider. No wipers????? Fantastic collage Harry and I won't mention the #1 in the title. :>) Dana

Fantastic collage of excellent shots. Superb details. This car would have great difficulty with the many potholes on our streets.

The best! The best! What a beast...and with my little knowledge of cars: How did ANYONE design a car with the chassis so close to the ground??? (See, I knew the word "chassis"! It's related to our word "case".) Maybe the lower rim is made of the space age polymers they use on space shuttles. All I know is, you were right about driving it on glass. Well, you caught this thing beautifully, it sits there like a big submarine, with all that smooth blue...it looks like a sleeping whale. Great selection of shots, you got its mass, its sheen, its low stature to the ground and those wild bumpers and---what---tire bullets? Tire guards? Hub bullets? They're even on the fender. Actually, it seems like the exterior was designed without too much fuss; it's very smooth. And of course you gave us your several angles so we can see the whole thing. The final tire shot really shows the car dragging along the grass. I mean, it's flush! People were suggesting a hydraulic lift: But it could be a little inconvenient to activate that thing every 2 minutes. And "Badmerk" (the license plate)---I assume that's short for "bad mercury". Well ya don't have to convince me. Great shots Harry. And don't think I didn't see some of those cars in the background: These shows must be impossible for you & other dedicated photographers: You get there and you only have so much time, and have to shoot a field-full of eye-popping cars & get all the angles you can before it's time to go (or you run out of card space). Great upload and thank you so much for connecting me with it! (I had to look up "chassis"!) This is a major honor, believe me, and I love your shots!

Super ride and a wonderful collage Harry! I really like the color! It is rather unusual for a set of wheels! And I also see that Mark likes it a lot! Great dedi!

behind as usual great car, cool and unusual color. I see Mark approved.. and yes you did get alot of those Slogans right your rock, and as far as the World Cup games being boring I would have thought so too.. but I have enjoyed them but yeah I prefer a bit more action like baseball, did you happen to catch that Dodger/ Angels game last night was a good one well except the Dodgers ended up losing..
