Description
I'm ready for my closeup, Mister DeMille.
Lynell, in her own Tennesseean way, likes this kind of stuff.
Captured 6/18/10, early on an overcast morning, about one half mile from my recondite roost.
Better viewed full size.
Not as lovely as the 1951 Mercury I posted yesterday, but that is a one of a kind. Actually, if you can look past the rather unattractive exterior, this old road queen has beautifully sculptured lines.
Toodles, thankx for clicking on, and for any and all complimentary comments and faves.

Very good capture!

I swear my mom used to drive one of these. I remember washing it in the driveway many many times. It got stolen once, and then found and returned. Wonder if this is the same one? Who knows. Great captures of this nearly-antique relic that could use a paint job!

SUCH an awesome car...man I bet it still rides like a smooth sailing boat.

Well she don't look too bad considering she is nearing 50 LOL. Some of us still age well, she just needs a little tlc and some exercise out on the road.... And 1960 wow a very good year you choose for me, thank you so much, I will consider it an early birthday gift lol.... I say lets get her some new tires and take her out for a drive and show her off.. thank you Harry, you are too kind... xo
