This photo was taken at Tirimbina Natural Preserve in Sarapiqui, Costa Rica. The wasp was diligently guarding this colorful flower.

What a beauty! Wasps are such gorgeous creatures. They always make me think they're wearing sunglasses! I love the colors in this and the sense of warmth. This is really superb work!
