My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

the thoughts go round and round - what if I had... why didn't I?... Very good

Pretty photo. So, no explication of the implications, eh?

I can hear the soothing sound of the falling water. Cemeteries are interesting places....Nice shot Tara!

depends on, if they take the water out of the ground nearby hehehe, tasty maybe. lol.

What a shot! I love your detail fragments, your little snippets of something much larger! In writing, that's always what draws a reader in...in photography, that's what opens a picture up into something expansive and a bit mysterious. I love the way you do that and the way your nicely cryptic title works with this. I'm also fascinated by circular implications in general, which is probably why I like the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica. Recursion fascinates me endlessly, and this image has tons of it. I love the curve, the brilliance, the water patterns. All of it. Yeah, this has my creative and philosophical juices flowing!

Actually the title is fine as it is. It is such a beautiful shot, Tara and I really think the water looks like pearls in the sun. Excellent.

There is a slightly Japanese feel to the composition which I love. An excellent pic. I do wish 'they' wouldn't make some cemeteries so clinical..our nearest one could be so rich in wildlife with a little less anal attention. And yet not far away a church graveyard has won an award from Natural England for it's biodiversity! It can be done!

Nice shot Tara well done!

excellent...i like the shadow

Plenty of circles... water, holes, ripples, shadows, design... life. I love the tree bending - nature supporting life. A thought provoking title and crop, Clive

But rain stopped (except on its underside) and the sun came out.

I was nonplussed by this fountain as an object by itself...but reading the comments above...particularly, Chip's (Chipka) and Clive's (cfulton), my eyes have opened. You as a photographer saw this in your mind's eye first and led us all to see your POV via crop and title. Really well done.

I think it's a perfect title for the just-perceptible curve of the fountain wall and more obvious curve of the shadow...beautiful!

A very nice shot. I know what I think of with "circular implications", so I'll wait and see if it is correct.

Clive said what I wanted to say... I do see lots of circles!!! Wonderful how you brought them all together in a piece of art! Wonderful shot Dierbaar!

And the seasons they go round and round And the painted ponies go up and down We're captive on the carousel of time We can't return we can only look Behind from where we came And go round and round and round In the circle game Joni Mitchell--The Circle Game I know how it made me feel--you see things so well!!

Is that anything like circular logic? The two songs that came to mind when I saw this were the old country standard "May the Circle Be Unbroken" and "Circles" by Soul Coughing( who's 'Unmarked Helicopters' is alt-rock dada jem). Then, of course, there's " Will It Go 'Round in Circles"... I like this pix a lot. It has a kind of subtly eternal quality to it that perfectly suits its surroundings. I can hear the water swirling softly, made even louder buy the silence of the gravestones. A haunting, bittersweet image.

Nice, Tara! Not sure about the implications (sounds like trouble to me LOL!), but I love the way the streams of water look like strings of diamonds. Really cool photo!
