My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.

Picking up on Rod's comment...this place was a bit heavenly:) Very nice shot of the entryway...looking forward to seeing your images from "the other side"...of the gate that is... LOL. Lovely look at the woods surrounding the property of Ravensea:)

What a beautiful gate, and exiting too. And I love the green brackens.

Well seen! Having done a little ironwork, I really like the balance and design of this gate. I presume the mate is there as well.

Oh Dierbaar, this is lovely! The gate alone says that this could be heaven! I love the curls and spikes of this lovely gate and the vegetation in the background already says that this will be a walk to remember!

Enticing....I'm eager to see more...

This is quite enticing! I love those ferns and I have to say that though I don't get much into "High Fantasy" without a grungy, gritty element to it (I don't do elves and fairies and dragons and princesses with exposed midriffs) but I like the "fantasy" ring of the name Ravensea. It evokes...well...seagoing ravens? But that's all beside this point. This is a really gorgeous photograph, lush and green so gorgeously inviting. Tranquility is a great thing, and just looking at this has made my night far more tranquil than it would have been had I not see this! I like it. I like it a lot!

With plant growth on both sides of the gate I can see it hasn't been moved for a while. I agree with others, the scene you've captured is pregnant with possibilities.
