Description

Inspired by some of Faemike55's experimentation with the CHK2033 skull, I spent most of this evening doinking around with this bloody thing. After a bit of playing around in the material room with different transparencies, reflections and so on, I came up with this. I don't think the current owners of the Mitchell-Hedges specimen are likely to come after this one, but Indiana Jones might be interested. I added a few other props as listed below, imported the background from Pixeluna and ChuckNepo's beautiful Lavinia's Tale package, rendered in Poser 8, and did a bit of postwork in Photoshop. Now, I have both G4 and Arawen standing behind me, arms folded, and tapping the floor with thier feet, so I'm getting back to work on page 6 of my TNA series. Hope everyone has a great weekend! And thanks so much for all the comments, faves, and comments! They are always appreciated! Skull by CHK2033 Candle and holder by FK - Luz de Imagen Candle Vase by Guderun Hourglass by Wtfftw

Rod, your smooth integration of your 3-d elements with the 2-d background never ceases to amaze me. There are no boundaries. A scene with no characters and yet you still make me sit up and take notice. Great job on the skull work and reflections.

WOW Rod this is fantastic. The little details all over really make this image pop. Now I want to see what happens to the poor sucker that thinks he can walk off with that artifact.
