Description

One night, very late, around midnight, I crossed the courtyard in front of the structure called "Destiny’s Doorstep". I was used to the courtyard being vacant of people at this hour. I traveled this way almost every night on my way back to my house on the outskirts of the village. This night, though, I was not alone. I happened to glance toward the steps and was startled, at first, to see another person. What most drew my attention was the look of the person who appeared to be staring right through me. It was a woman, young and beautiful, who met my gaze and the glare in her eyes was most intimidating. If looks could kill I would have fallen dead right then and there. She was watching me with a look more like hunger than of anger or hatred. I quickened my pace, trying not to look afraid and as my steps increased I heard her start to follow. I hurried, trying to get home before this dark and disastrous feeling totally obscured my senses and caused me to panic. I could hear her pace speed up as well and upon taking a quick glance backwards I saw her face and that the expression had changed. Gone was the glaring eyes replaced now with a look of overwhelming desire. What still frightened me though was the flashing gleam of the reflection of light from her two sharp, long canine teeth. Too late I realized that what followed was not at all human. At this point all sanity left me and I broke into a full run. I made the corner that lead to my house and was stopped immediately by a frightening sight. There in front of me was the woman. How had she passed me by and got in front without my having seen her go by. Such questions were futile at this point and I realized too late that all that mattered was what she had in store for me. It seems I was to be hers and there was no escape. I gave in to the inevitable ...

Something simple and not so dramatic when it comes to lighting. Hope you like the picture and the story.... gene

The story of a meal. Would this be considered fast food? I think that this one represents your talents very well. I have never seen any work from you that was not of great quality and it seems as though I never will. Bravo my friend! Love your work.

Destiny doesn't look so bad! Having some bad luck recently. A few weeks ago a house water tank leak, potential financial problem and a flat tyre all got me all on one day. Today my car broke down. Well no one died or got cancer so I guess to some its a pretty mild visit with destiny. Although no pretty woman with horns I thought some of the women on London's tube pretty hot. I dont normally see them as I drive everywhere. Its so nice of women to wear such skimpy clothing in hot weather. A free and harmless treat.
