Description

Sitting on the Altar she laughed to herself. After all, what a perfect place to feed. A cemetery was a great place for an Undead such as herself to partake of the life blood her body craved. She had, however, an aversion to drinking straight from a host body and found it to be rather primitive and uncivilized. No, she much rather preferred to drain the body into her large, red jar and fill her chalice till near dawn, right before sunrise, and then retire to the cool dampness of her crypt and the ornate coffin that was her sleeping place. This place and the nearby town had been her hunting ground for almost 10 years. None came near the cemetery because of the stories that to do so would almost certainly mean death to any of the living and they steered clear of this side of town altogether. They had even taken to burning the dead instead of chancing a trip here or made the newly dead a burial place early in the morning to be far away by dusk. It did many of them no good though. She hunted prey as soon as the last rays of the sun had died and many still roamed the streets of the village, drunk, and besides, the men thought they could handle anything, especially with a few stiff drinks in their bellies. Tonight the fog had settled here in this valley and was perfect for her blood feasting. She loved the cold, wet mists and it was such a difference from the still warm blood she so thrilled in drinking. Under the full moon she made a hideous sight, with the blood dribbling down her chin. Mustn’t be messy. After all she was a product of good breeding. At least she was while alive.

A little macabre vision of beauty gone wrong. The undead, while beautiful in life, are a frightening sight in the midst of an undead non-life. This poor soul was once a lovely and refined countess and now she was only a demon with a blood feeding mania, always on the hunt for a nice warm body much like your own, to quench her urges. Beware of those places that these ghouls haunt or you risk death or WORSE!!! Good luck tonight. Stay safe and stay alive.... gene
