who remembers that Beatles tune?
Charlene (Charberry), left me the following comment:
Ooooh, more salt shakers. These are really cool. You are beginning to start me collecting salt shakers. Why not... I collect a lot of other things, too. ;c)
So I thought I would do this one for her, it wasn't my intention to get anyone started on collecting these but fun to hear it did, I have a small collection myself, would love for anyone else that does to show us some photos of their collections. Some day soon I will go back and retake the ones I lost.. until then I have one more to post on this series.
Oh Deere! The above images were taken at a Salt and Pepper Museum in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Hippy hippy Shakes? Really? I don't remember the Beatles doing anything like that. Excellent indoor capture of more of your favorite stuff, Lynell. Slow shutter speed or high ISO? And, I get enough of the shakers here in California -- earthquake style, that is -- without having to start a collection of these lovelies. Sorry about the USA losing to Ghana in the World Cup. But to Ghana? Give me a break.

The Beatles are great! This series does make me wish I had kept my horse shakers! But I have a tendency to collect too many things! :-)

I LOVE these shakers & would LOVE to spend time there looking :o) I see the Mr. Men are there too. The Swinging Blue Jeans had a hit over here with Hippy Hippy Shake (I think :o)) Paul McCartney is still going strong, have seen him in concert a couple of times, FABULOUS!!!!!!!

I love to see the things that people collect! Shakers are indeed cool. I collect pens, lighters, pipes, watches, Cadillac memorabilia, and vintage audio equipment. OH forget cell phones. I happen to be the proud owner of one of the first cell phones made. The thing is a brick must way 2 lbs. FARE OUT, and loved your series!
